It has been another two weeks, and I've now paid the first month mortgage on the unit, and still have no renters.I've listed in Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, TenantCloud (including the third party sites ie: Zillow, Trulia, Apartments, etc..)My listing reads as such:Enjoy Lake Owasso, tennis or the pool with this architecturally designed remodel.

As far as partnering with him, a partnership on a rental property may be an option if I can bring credit or financing to the table, but I am getting paid to do the layout design, drawings, and material selections for his new construction investments and client remodels, so no opportunity on that end.

I'm curious in different parts of the country what builders and remodelers are paying in fees.

It’s a lesson learnt the hard way, we’ll surely be more thorough with the screening process going forward.The house was newly remodeled, there was a general house inspection and repairs were done accordingly before she moved in.

Mold, stuffed toilets, laminate and carpets were destroyed.

-To be competitive in the resale market, both units need:  full kitchen and bath remodel; new flooring; new paint; new window fixtures; some / all new internal doors; popcorn ceiling scrape and paint; new light fixtures; likely new water heaters.My experience tells me that each unit can be fully remodeled for between $20k-$30k.Seller says that each can be fully renovated and be market-competitive with only $5k.
