Pay the property taxes, care for, cultivate and/or cheaply fence the property and wait out the period of Adverse Possession.   

We are thinking about doing tacking adverse possession.

The concern is typically centered around how the Appraiser denotes any adverse impact the underlying zoning has on the value or marketability of the property as-is.

Some are portfolio building focused, others equity investing, others cash-flow, some risk adverse others happy with higher risk for higher reward potential.

I am in this same boat right now... my wife is very risk adverse and is quick to say no up to this point.

I'll be honest.I am yet to buy my first property but i probably appreciate capital formation from saving from the household budget seeing it go towards down payments etc.i know also understand a little better :private money lending, syndication of a deal over and above wholesaling, lease options etc and other creative finance options.One successful real estate investor said "Adversity is a necessary panacrea of success."

Another title for this post could be "From adversity to advantage"1.

Construction stopped for a little bit, Material cost went up at an all time high, Material delays, Despite all of this I cant be any more proud of what my construction team did this year we overcame adversity and still accomplished what we set fourth to do.

I also tend to be risk adverse as you are so I recommend as others have that you analyse where you want to be by certain ages.
