@Ting Liu Since the building and loan were in your name, the IRS considers you the sole owner for tax purposes, meaning you’re responsible for the full capital gains tax.

I e-mailed the city council people and the response I got was basically "We're not allowing more than 250 STR's in our city so get in line".

For you, is having a 5-star overall rating on rental sites the most crucial factor for success, or are there other aspects that you consider even more important?

That way you don't have to bother splitting bills and being responsible for that.

Furthermore, what has been your results as far as Delivery %, Response %.
