If you are in a market that is not landlord friendly- you can get help by having a HUD tenant, they can be removed quickly without the courts through loosing their HUD vouchers. 

I guess what im try to figure out is if anyone charging $200-300 more above the rental value because of the section 8 vouchers? 

Hi folksI have made a mistake of allowing a voucher-assisted tenant to move in when she did not have the full amount of security deposit during Lease signing.

And of course the 18 year old son was still on the voucher.

I have a motivated seller, property management company, buyer with over $1500 in Section 8 rental vouchers...and my buyer is still trying to obtain finances for the deal.

Anyone who can pay (or get a voucher for) $850 rent in Las Vegas at this time, does not want to live surrounded by junkies, drug dealers, and homeless folks literally pooping and screwing right outside the gate.

The industry seems incestuous as there are housing agencies that administer voucher programs for counties that actually own properties in those counties. 

That would be my first guess (as that is right about the current 3bd vouchers).Are you trying to do something with Owner financing, thus the rejection?

Have the tenants (tenants are Section 8 voucher recipients) pay now or take the amount from the deposit.
