We already own 2 of the 3 sites and trying to work with the village for the 3rd.

@Jordan Moorhead exactly, that is what I have been running into, which is why I am looking into the Village at Point Venture since they allow for STRs and seems to be a great location.   

This is more of a question on how much you understand that particular village and the local economics that would make this location attractive.  2.

Wheeler, and the village of Angel Fire.

I'm thinking that in the time I spend posting open listings and running up and down the steps of East Village walk-ups, I could probably make 100s of calls a day.

So, I go even though the village never went through and actually condemned the house.
