Give Relevance to posts by people actually doing deals (the whole guru mentality, that anyone can dish out advice, but are they doing it themselves?)

Between the hassle of the local unrest, the homelessness, the drug issues, the mentally ill in the streets, the oppressive ordinances, high cost of living, and police protection being called into question, I would advice commuting into Seattle and living in one of the satellite communities.

I'm currently working as a Systems Engineer for a satellite communications company, which was my expertise in the Air Force. 

You have to take in to consideration that you are only repairing one side so what if you spend this $10k and have to dish out more on the next side.there are many things to factor here.

I'm interested in metro-satellite towns and suburban areas, including, but not limited to Orem and Ogden, but pretty nothing more north or south from both areas.

More than one bathroom makes a live in flip easier - you remodel one bath while still being able to use the other(s).A property with a utility sink makes it much easier to wash dishes than doing them in the bathtub, although your kitchen won't be torn apart forever.A garage to store tools is nice to have.Avoid the "weird" houses.

Students rarely have time -- or worse -- just see a mess as someone else's problem or something they will get to later so dishes in the sink, bugs, cleaning after their pets, etc, are just a few of the problem areas.  

Most private money guys want you to have skin in the game first before they dish out any funds. 

Still  I personally don't believe Indy has the infrastructure to support the big influx that AMZ would bring, but maybe satellite midwest offices (such as Salesforce) would be a good fit.
