You cannot buy a property and leave it vacant most of the year without it being a drain on your income and exposing yourself to some serious dangers.You cannot just leave the property vacant and not expect bad things to happen. 

Somewhere in CDs underground line is blocked so we will have to dig up our gravel driveway (100 ft or so) and replace.It would be a lot easier to tap in to ABs water in the crawl space and run a line to CD (only about 20ft away)Our water bills here account for water ~15$ a month and trash $60 a month.

It had a really nice layout, the exterior looked really good, and it was only a couple of blocks from my best friends house.

Scott gave you a very important piece of advice, which is go block-by-block.

Drain Maintenance -  Any time the truck or the bikes get super muddy they go to the coinop carwash for a rinse - I'd rather leave the muddy mess at the carwash instead of in front of my house - I imagine those drains have to be cleared out fairly often.Winter:  Looks like you're in TX, so might not be as big of an issue for you, but during winter here in UT those hoses are constantly running to avoid freezing.

Ive already hit a number of road blocks but my most recent one has me stumped. 

It is also very loud due to being right behind the train.However, there are multiple new construction million dollar homes on the same block.

Once they have that info there is no more curiosity about the number that keeps calling and they can now block your number.

You would also still have a fuse box, unless it has been replaced with a breaker panel.On the plumbing side, your main drain lines and stack are likely cast iron and would be 70-75% through their serviceable life.  

SFHs can be a real drain unless you are already financially well off.
