everytime i see one of those commercials i shake my head.i figured if these people have to advertisig that they are willing to lease to own, its probably a better deal for them.i could be wrong, i will have to do some research on lease options but thanks for the information, do you recommend any good books or websites about lease options?

That said, many have read his books and taken the seminars; some of those have actually benefitted (read: made money).I found Douglas Gray's "Making Money in Real Estate" and "The Canadian Landlord's Guide" to be more useful reads.I would also recommend George Dubé and Steve Cohen's "Legal, Tax & Accounting Strategies for the Canadian Real Estate Investor".If you want a Canadian flavoured references / text book on commercial real estate, then you should shake your piggy bank and get a copy of Pierre & Claude Boiron's "Commercial Real Estate Investing in Canada".

I would just have it checked like they said for plumbing etc I bought a property on a hand shake from an 80 year old and he didn't want an appraisal it was the best thing I ever bought I appraised it and never shared it with him.
