I suggest start by calling their listings and see how the person answering the phone (if they answer) interacts with you.

In reality I consider my personal integrity and reputation to be of utmost importance and I am confident that will be readily apparent to anyone who interacts with me.  

Contracts, screening and interacting with tenants was a rough uphill battle that I was totally unprepared for.  

For instance, for one county, I pay $20 per month and have access to all of the documents related to whatever property I'm researching-the site has interactive maps, I can do research on the neighboring properties to see what's up in each particular neighborhood, if the properties are owner occupied or owned by out of area landlords- another county gives me the info on foreclosure status of all of the homes in the county, while another county only provides info if I call them-they don't even have a weekly list of foreclosures on their website.

I feel very comfortable with the screening tenant process and I understand the importance of the face to face interaction.....
