Eventually I realized that even my engineering job wasn't going to make me happy and I need to find something that gets me excited, so for the past month I have been browsing Reddit, listening to Podcasts, and watching YouTube videos.

Start by listening to all the podcast, browse through the forums, read a few real estate books on rentals/flips and you will be on your feet in the game in no time!

Keep in mind the prices you see on Airbnb when browsing listings include a lot of fees that Airbnb takes, so the owner doesn't get all of that.  

I currently don't exactly know what I am looking to pursue  with regard to a niche but hopefully by browsing through the forums, talking with family who currently works in real estate, and meeting some of you, I can take the right steps forward!  

I was looking at condos/townhouses a few years back and I think I got down to like $400-$500 is the maximum I'd pay, so I'd set my filter at $450-500 for HOA when browsing.
