I'm telling yathis is not a easy taskyou have to have all your licensing in place first, plus it has to conform to ADA, fire marshal, and city requirementsyou will need a twenty four hour live in caretaker that is licensed plus a RN that is licensed with a certificate for home healthyou should probably look into the requirements in your area before even considering the scenarioI just went through this last year in AZ and I decided it was too much of a hassle even with my network at the hospitalenjoy

If you buy a color that matches the tub surround, it will look less ADA and more decorator.That way when you turn the unit, the next potential renter will see them as a upgrade to a standard bath setup.Good Luck!

And hey, the world is big and interesting.Anyway, here's what they (digital nomads)need and some of what they want: FAST WIFI above all, after that a little "zoom room" kind of space separate from the general living area is idealclean, simple look. lots of conveniently placed outletsgood places within walking/biking distancebike storage/laundry in unitdishwasherappliances should be and look new and the kitchen should be visually appealing but singles will order out more than they cooklow VOC paint and other quasi-green touches are nice things to add and put in an ad as a signal.

I know people use it recreationally for hunting, shooting, dirt biking, stuff like that.My property is right next to the city limits so I doubt I can use it ad a shooting range, perhaps as an archery range 🤔

I am an architect and can tell you that if you’re renovating to the level you are planning you will likely need to adhere to ADA, provide adequate bathroom fixture counts, ensure egress meets required limits, and make sure that sprinkler coverage from the new walls you put up is to code (minimum distance from walls, etc.).

I own a building in downtown CLE that has a 3 yr old new buildout with 12 bedrooms, 7 total full bathrooms, 1 half convenience bath located in community area.  5 bathrooms are shared with 10 bedrooms( jack and Jill layout) with 2 single bathrooms for 2 private suites with one of those suites being ADA compliant.
