From what I've seen, and I've had a privileged perspective, it's remarkably easy for these guys to get into the teamwork aspect of programming and very much blur the boundaries with their colleagues between their social and professional lives.

There are power points that almost every career has: integrity, initiative, ingenuity, passion, enterprise, creativity, optimism, reliability, resiliency, team work, leadership, persistence and tenacity, As a newbie, I am choosing to spend a lot of time on my investing and real estate education building the skills necessary for me to be successful. 

The issue thought would be if you're trying to market yourself as a team working out of two locations.
