There is a shortage of rentals in our area so re-renting will be very easy.

There is a vacant property which has been vacant for a few years and an eye sore to the community.

Dark stain will grab on uneven spots or poorly sanded areas and will stick out like a sore thumb once the stain is applied. 

You will be sorely disappointed if you go with option 1 and will lose money if you go with 3.Personally I would ask them to put it on a lock box and hire a local newbie agent from the agency representing you to do the showings.

My concern is the area is quite distressed, while some of the properties are in decent condition, others are boarded up and an eye sore.  

During the conversation, she said she'd call the police, but that I'd get in trouble because there's an ordinance that landlords need to keep their buildings from being disorderly (I've since looked into this, I'm not too worried).Throughout I was calm, respectful and polite - and I think she sensed that so I was able to calm the drama a bit - but honestly, I don't like this tenant. 

For example, there are animals that have an innate ability to detect that a person with a seizure disorder is about to have a seizure and can let the individual know ahead of time so that the person can prepare.

But if you have the means and the wherewithal education beyond high school is extremely important unless you're a trust fund baby or suffering from a physical or mental disorder.

But I've also talked to people in the community who totally hate the look, including, households with young kids and those of retired couples.You probably don't want to be the only house with the drought tolerant plants or else you'll stick out like a sore thumb. 

This does not suggest any sort of recovery in the economy, and frankly, it suggests that house prices are being propped up with investor money, that is bidding higher and higher.I cannot believe for a moment that this is sustainable, especially since most of these investors are leveraged up to their eyeballs in debt, and if the market rate for rent goes down, there will be some extremely sore investors out there.However, it is nice to know that when the market corrects again, our strategy of building a war chest for failed investment properties will make us a good return in the future as it did last time round.
