Your husband likely owns 50% of your LLC as community property, unless it was formed before marriage, or you have a pre- or post-marital agreement partitioning it to separate property.

As a divorce attorney, I completely agree with not mixing pre- and post- marital assets.  

Gary is correct, the house is considered marital property even though title is only in the husband's name.  

Unless its a local issue, its not illegal to turn down based on marital status.
