David, mortgages originated by any lender, including banks, must be accomplished by an originator with the national RMLO registry number, banks aren't exempt nor are the loan officers.Before I go there, CA has its state licensing requirement, which may exempt bank employees who have the national RMLO license, passing the national test and offer an avenue for RE brokers to obtain a license.
