Overall I would personally consider how I can still grow with the freedom that I have focusing on my real estate.

We purchased it off market, as-is, and as it was our personal home, we renovated over time.

Personally, If I could pull out a HELOC, I would use it to fix and flip which will typically make sense as you shouldnt be keeping the money out for that long and you can recycle it or pay it back and build off the capital that you got from. the flip.

I got a deal on labor as I know the contractor personally and helped out a bit with the project.

We will shop for used appliances where we can when we need one… or pick up used cabinets if we can, or search eBay for something smaller,  but going to the extreme of personally shipping something big in internationally for one-off renovation needs seems like a stretch of reasonable.Just like you mention, the number of unknowns would not seem to be worth it to me.Just my 2 cents.Randy  

Hi @Mary HollandDSCR loans are a great option for real estate investors since they focus on the property's income potential rather than personal income.

People want reliability, honesty, being on time, and having a good personality more than just a few $$.

It doesn’t cost any different than being under your own personal name.
