Blaming it on the departed PM is patently ridiculous, the company is responsible.

It's patently ridiculous that the state has conditioned normal free citizens to believe they are liable for injuries resulting from duties other people accept without having to find any culpability of the hiring party.I'm not arguing that you shouldn't use license and bonded contractors, as lawsuits are real, buts it's sad that reasonable people don't recognize this as another modern day, historically novel, oppressive imposition of the nanny state

For instance, we recently needed an attorney's advice when filing for a patent and trademark which we knew nothing about.So we went to Upwork and Upcounsel (freelancer sites) and posted a job for patent attorney.

If it’s on the market with a Realtor, they have to disclose patent defects.

Back in the day that scam was on the back of Tempur-Pedic patents on memory foam and 200-400% retail markups in mattress stores complicit in the biz of selling the same mattresses under wildly different names for years.
