Keeping the property, has me kinda close in my debt to income ratio (well on paper at least not in reality but that's a whole other story), and with the storm coming that is probably not were I want to be.The only rush we have is the fact that we have a newborn coming, and no nursury, but the reality is that the baby is gonna be in mothers arms non stop for the next 6 months, I spent the first year with our firstborn sleeping on the couch!

I recently started a home improvement company - albeit mostly to get my sparsely-employed-as-of-late-contractor-boyfriend off the couch..( He is great at what he does, not so at sales, marketing, follow up, paperwork, keeping books, which I am now handling, along with some light assistance to actual physical work)...Anyway I'm starting my first rehab shortly and was planning to just do the work (it's a light job) between he, I and maybe another guy we know.

I have no idea what I'm doing (I hesitate to say I am "new" to real estate investing because I'm not doing any investing by definition) but this is what I've been doing as well.Luckily my city has records online so I can see how much a house was sold for and on what date without getting off the couch.
