Until people with back-bone stand up, support the concept of intelligent management vs "popular" management, turning off ___ politics and just talking to their neighbor, being an actual community again, choosing leadership by results.

Personally with my brokerage I focus on vision, leadership, and mentorship and leave the whirling doodads and moderately-useful-tech-gimmicks to the brokers who are also clubbing themselves over the head with split-cuts.

Here's my take on the scenarios you laid out:Scenario 1:  Since Partner 1 is bringing the deal, the experience, and the high-level leadership of the deal, Partner 2 is the Money and the day-to-day oversight.

In my opinion, the best thing you can do is start a thought leadership platform where you can document your real estate journey.

Take a leadership class, do power poses, shout affirmations at yourself inside your car on the drive over if you have to.
