Good evening!
My name is Ricardo Cuza. My wife and I live in Englewood, FL between Tampa and Naples. We recently heard of real estate investing and have been steadily making the time to learn as much as we can on our own via books and audiobooks, podcasts, and blogs.
The more we learn, the more motivated we feel to get out there and get some real work done! There’s still a lot we have to learn of course and that just excites us all the more! We need to get our feet wet and are willing to work for free in return for quality experience, practical education, and valuable relationships. We realize that these resources prove invaluable, more than any single deal.
We absolutely dread our day jobs and looking into making investing a full time endeavor. I work as a technician at Safelite replacing/repairing auto glass and my wife works as a CNA. Through different mediums we have witnessed how real estate investing has totally changed many individuals lives and since having our daughter 10 months ago we have been slowly adapting to parent life, school, and work while learning real estate investing. She is our Big Why. That and we need to forfeit the rat race and live the life we want on our terms.
We intend to focus on small multifamily and then graduate to large apartment buildings. Buy and hold strategy.
We are ready, willing, and able to take action, bring whatever value we can to the table, and work harder than ever until we reach our goals and then work harder still. Learning is our #1 priority.
We started driving around our market, taking note of new developments and properties for sale. Also, we have begun to develop our business plan and we will be attending as many events, seminars, and meetings in our area as possible. We are speaking to everyone we know and run into about real estate investing. While driving around at work and at jobs I will play BP Podcasts just to surround myself with the material. Any help, tips, advice, ANYTHING is completely welcome and appreciated.
