He interviews local brokers, attorneys, investors, accountants, and other business owners.

It’s not just about managing assets, but people too.Market Reputation – Always perform due diligence and assess the firm’s track record through interviews, property visits, and broker consultations.Choosing a firm with these qualities ensures better management and long-term success.

I would interview agents who have done exactly what you wanted.

At this point, I’m eager to cut ties with them completely.I did interview several other PMs before choosing a new one.

This is a two-way interview, so have a short list of questions to ask the mentor (What books do you recommend I read to gain a better understanding?

I just have 5 units and am doing other work to help pay the bills in addition to doing all the property management myself (upkeep, repairs, cleaning in between tenants, mowing, finding & interviewing tenants etc).   

I called my property manager and she hadn't set up any tenants, and was set to interview a bunch of people. 

There's a podcast on @Michael Blank's platform where he interviews a wholesaler who happened to do 1 apartment deal.
