They claim only $10-$15/sqft to fabricate and install granite countertops but $5/sqft to install laminate flooring.The website is total nonsense.

Fortunately despite the delays I was able to stay on the 30k budget for the most part, and at the end I decided to go a few thousand over to do granite countertops instead of formica and to do that nice mosaic backsplash so that the house would have a wow factor, which I think had a lot to do with getting it sold so fast!

@John LeavelleThanks John, I literally just put a couple numbers in that were low because I've completely made the property new from the roof all the way to the exterior siding, paint, unit 1 & 2 now have new carpet, cabinets, granite counter tops and tile flooring.

Our house has been updated over the years of living there(all new paint, re did bathroom, granite counters, new carpet) so my question is do we try and sell at a higher mark and cash in on our house and put some in to the new house to build equity and reinvest to a rental or do we keep our old house as a rental, which would be the nicest rental in the area?
