In my limited experience, they add no real value to the process, and like you said, don't really know costs, and while ARV is fairly easy to determine, they are always aggressive on those, too.So, how do you not get taken to the cleaner?  

I do, however, have virtual credit cards for vendors I have recurring payments with like cleaner, spa maintenance and yard maintenance.

But this is a last resort - first I focus on fixing any leak, removing all carpets and drywall in area, clorox and other cleaners... 

These were launched because all those "co-sponsors" that didn't want to get licensed needed a cleaner way to be in deals.  

The problem is it sucks, it barely works, it's surprisingly unintuitive for something so simple, and barely any guests actually use it.Which is kind of the same reason we're not discussing this on Google+ while wearing our Google glasses and talking about which version of Google Stadia is best to put into our homes as we communicate with our cleaners through Google Hangouts.While google obviously has a few big hits like Maps/Flights/Gmail, the majority of google releases follow the same pattern of great technology, horrible interface, no marketing, and eventual abandonment by Google.

Another friend needs to renovate his house but can't get anyone to do it, it's brutal.Plumbers, roofers, lawncare, there's no one available to do this work bc there's waaayyyy too many Airbnbs for the local labor market to support.Not to mention the dire shortage of cleaners and handymen.

There are a few stains but are probably removable by professional carpet cleaner.
