The children of Elizabeth Holmes probably thought they would inherit Theranos and it didn't last past well their birth! 

Her family is telling me that landlords don’t have a lot of say in renting with not being able to evict during the cold months if the tenants have children.

Family status is the protected status that trips up most people, with comments like great family home, great neighborhood with lots of kids, this is the ideal place to raise children, etc. are clear violations of fair housing rules.

Previous owner lived in home up until death, now children are basically saying home belongs to them.

And no I'm not able to drive an hour and half to a local rei meeting, unfortunately I can't even attend the new ones that held a town away because I have 2 young children and I can't go that far away from them for that amount of time.  

Hence the need to speak about this - I know very well why my family moved to the US and have a pretty good comparison of life and opportunities in the US vs other countries and political ideology has a lot to do with what kind of life a countries citizens and their children will have. 

I had a beer with my brother recently and after I laid out my path forward with all the numbers involved, he said “you can’t afford to stay” … pension won’t be worth enough to justify staying in a job that has a pretty hard cap on earnings for a pension that won’t be worth enough to make a difference in my life, let alone the lives of my children.

Don't discriminate against children, charge different rates for children, etc.4. $100 a month doesn't sound like enough.
