For full out renovations I use name brand valve sets with replacable valve stems, enameled cast iron tubs from HD, and white subway tile with detail accents for a classic looking reasonably priced tile job.

The economic growth appears to be following the C word (read: Cannabis) and while other economic factors lead me to believe the economy is diversifying the great influx of youth seem to be drawn to the lifestyle of the surrounding area.

Most of the negative things I've heard stem from the fact about 70% of the residents in the areas are renters vs. homeowners and the market is flooded/competitive for rentals (I've looked up some numbers and they do seem to be roughly in that range).My thought process (I'm a newbie, but still) is that if the place has decent PM or self-management and is priced fairly it will rent *shrugs*.
