Overall, this project was a much smaller rehab than we are used to but in a little over a week we completed the following:- pressure washed the outside of the entire property- repaired and replaced damaged sections of gutters- replaced thermostat- re-wired furnace - painted exterior doors and shutters- replaced carpet in the living areas (living room, dining room, kitchen) with Allure vinyl plank flooring- steam cleaned carpet in all three bedrooms- replaced old vinyl floors in both bathrooms with ceramic tiles- repaired several areas of the walls with large holes- painted the entire house realist beige (thanks JScott)- Resurfaced the kitchen cabinets and repainted- purchased and installed all new appliances (dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave)- replaced all switch plate and outlet covers - cleaned the house front to back and top to bottomDuring this time we had our lease agreement reviewed by our attorney and were getting other administrative and operating processes finalized to be able to rent the property.

We already have to resurface it due to the Citys vacant property inspection report, so adding a slightly larger apron shouldn't be too large of cost when we will already have the paver there.Huggy Baird - Thats a good point about building code.

For example, an investor may believe existing parking is adequate and well-maintained...while an HOA board may decide to resurface parking spaces and add new paint outlining spaces to 'spruce up the place'.

Depending on what it looks like, if its structurally in good condition, repairs and or resurfacing with Quickrete concrete resurfacer, and a coat of semi transparent concrete stain at times does wonders, for a few hundred bucks.

That said, we are currently in the process of making some inexpensive improvements (painting kitchen cabinets, resurfacing the Formica countertops, and installing new, inexpensive lighting fixtures. 

Seems dicey that we're seeing the resurfacing of the word "tranches" when describing CLO-type securities. 

Also needs resurfacing and new equipment but I don't think that's a problem for a lender (?) 

And then you have to hope that the issuing companies stays in business for long enough to warranty their work if the issues ever resurface.
