In fact I have recently recommended a property to someone else that I'm half kicking myself for not buying myself and half thankful that this person got it.Now, if someone from out of state didn't want to invest here because they didn't want someone of color or of a different religion living in the properties, I would have issue with that and would not want to work with them, no matter how much money they offered me.

You can discriminate and ask for only a particular sex, only a certain religion, etc.I would personally try to find someone of generally the same background, age, income, and temperament as yourself.

I understand that you get used to wave the Fair Housing at every opportunity but it would help to read it and not just interpret what you’ve heard somewhere.The law protects people from discrimination on the basis of race, familial status, national origin, color, disability, religion, sex.That’s it.
