A particular demand from some of the cities is that airBNB should collect certain types of information at the time of the booking, rental address, name of renter etc.. and transmit this information or make it available to the cities somehow, so the cities can utilize for checking against a database or registry of some sort to better monitor compliance etc...

Nowadays you can even get them that transmit the data through WiFi so you don't have to physically read them.

Besides, the GKs are getting drones from old Santa, you can buy one as a toy, it flies okay in calm winds, stay under 500 feet, they come with a camera that you down load, at under $300 they don't transmit pics but take them.

Your concerns transmit to me that you're almost paranoid due to the lack of knowledge, don't mean that in a snotty way, but RE is rather easy, actually, there is little risk so long as you deal honestly, ethically and legally.

If the cameras are going to alert them every time someone is coming over and they are going to bother you about who is there and why, I would suggest looking into more traditional cameras that are recording/transmitting without sending alerts.

The title company closing our resale needs copies of our docs and then an e mail from the closer who closed our purchase stating that the deed has been transmitted to the county for recording.
