I can tell you how I got started - in my 20's just out of the Army - I thought the world owed me a living since I served in Germany for 3 years charged with protecting America - well ---- that wasn't the case - I was just another X-GI who did his duty - employers didn't need someone who could shoot an M-1, march in formation and guard military property with an empty rifle - so I found some jobs in sales- I hated working for someone else - so my friend was learning how to invest in real estate and suggested I do the same - so  I started taking seminars, reading books, buying tapes (remember those?)

Our Social Security trust fund is predicted to be depleted in 2041.The recurrent argument suggests that without a gold standard (or a commodity backed currency), our government will simply print fiat money in lieu of balancing its budget, which mirrors what happened in other countries (such as Germany), who abandoned the gold standard, just before periods of hyperinflation.I realize that forecasting the future is a fool’s errand, but I would like to know people’s opinion about our current monetary policy.

We have been compensating this price to the lowest already in the hope of getting someone to rent it out.I might have to include that I do not live in the states but in Luxembourg (small country next to France, Belgium and Germany) and that we live in a very urban neighborhood.I talked to my family and told them about my interest in real estate and that I want to get involved eventually as a career to be able to quit my job and focus on real estate completely, and I got the permission to take over.My other uncle is trying to sell his family home for a few months now and I haven't spoken to him yet but I am sure he will let me take over as well in order to get his house sold.I will get more detailed information about both buildings by the weekend. My question to you guys is, what advice can you give me?
