Wills can be handwritten, however they need the proper witnesses and signatures.

Brian Mathews that is how it is in FL where I invest, but a lot of places (mostly NE and Mid W it seems) that is not the case they lien the property that had the bill no matter who ran it up.

Having lived in Florida just a few years ago and personally witnessing all the empty commercial centers help to remind me of this belief.As you get older, it is easier to own larger complexes and I have done that.

If you do that, take photos of the stuff being delivered to the tenant or get witnesses or a sign off from the tenant that she received the last of her belongings.
