I would say that the biggest three reasons that people don't take taxis are that 1) The taxi is expensive 2) The taxi takes a long time to drive across town and get me 3) I have to interact with a driver The driverless taxi fixes all of these.

If it's not worth my time to handwrite it for them probably not worth interacting with them...Although I've thought about buying 1000 business cards and throwing them out my car window as I go & seeing if I would ever get a response.LOL at the sponge business card but not sure I want someone washing themselves with my contact info.
