The nearest competitor is 85 miles away...thoughts?

I was given a rent analysis, this property unfortunately doesnt have competitors to compare rents too, the nearest town is 15 miles away, and they are charging way more for 650sqft unit properties then this owner was.

I also sat through a Sean Terry sponsored webinar (about 1 year ago) on a competitor service to Privy but I can't remember the name of that service.

The electrical cooperative has a super competitor power rate.

So the question is... do you really think you have a chance when your competitors have a credible website and you don't?

I'm considering buying a place expressly to rent it out using Airbnb (and their competitors), and the plan would be to key the lock with a smartphone that a cleaning person could use to enter at certain times, and to have defined checkin and checkout times for guests.

I would compare your property by bedroom, size, amenities, etc. to see your nightly rate and compare how much you could make based on competitors average times booked.

I had a landlord/owner that signed up sight unseen coming from a local competitor.

I gave no idea why people send out junk when they stand head above their competitors with better marketing.
