I am managing 52 units in the Berwyn/Lyons area on this system, and I also have a separate master key setup through them for a 20 unit apartment complex in South Bend, Indiana. 

The plastic ones bend easily to accommodate the antics of cats and kids.

With the acquired info I can budget in order to fix deferred maintainence or any problems immediately as well as know what may be around the bend.

If you manage property long enough, this will not be the first time you run into issues where tenants try to bend or outright break the rules of your rental agreement.

You can either show them that you don't mess around with how you run things, or you can let them bend the rules and be prepared to have them know that you are soft and wont stand up to them on future issues/concerns.If a tenant comes to me BEFORE they want to do something, I'm much more lenient on considering it.....lie to me, go behind my back and have me catch you, then prepare to suffer the consequence.
