EXp is a great concept with LOADS of talented agents. myself, I enjoy looking someone in the eyes and shaking their hand. but that could be the small town boy in me, haha. every person is different and that's why there's so many different options. it's like asking 'what brand of running shoe should I go with?"

Let me say that again because people ask for 'wholesale contracts' all the time and it makes me shake my head.

Thanks for posting this @Joshua Ricker-  yes, I have been watching and it certainly will shake up the industry.

Today, that professional is driving a BMW or Lexus and when he sees someone driving a 10-year-old subcompact, he shakes his head and pities the poor fool who can't do any better than to drive that decrepit junk.There's nothing wrong with an old reliable car, and in reality, there's nothing wrong with inexpensive investment properties. 

@Chris Levarek thanks for the insights, that is honestly refreshing to hear about short term rentals, Thats an area of real estate that needs a little shake up in my opinion. 

Eventually would love to have a Lake Michigan AirBnB but again not sure how the numbers shake out with homes that are shut down several months of the year.  

Be willing to move up, but anchor yourself super low and see what shakes out. 

Go to some meetups and shake some hands. 

Disposing of cedar shakes are labor intensive and has high dump fees.
