I can’t speak for Baltimore but I self manage on the eastern shore (even self managed through a failed well which even then pumped sand through the pipes requiring a replumb) key is having good contractors which can definitely had in this case.

Almost all of these real estate agents make great money, have repeat clients, and one company has expanded to purchase two more brokerages and now covers the central and eastern half of the state and has about 200 realtors.

So many that I see in that price range (targeting eastern panhandle of Florida) would need to be almost completely gutted.
