Having said that, I graduated with A piece of paper that says I graduatedA huge network of alumni who are all in the same business as I am (architects, GC's, subs, developers, suppliers, etc)A technical knowledge of the business (Enough to keep me out of trouble, and to know when to consult an attorney, engineer, architect, or more often than not, a veteran tradesman)The network I developed is worth ten-fold the cost of the degree.

Also try to establish credit lines with your trade suppliers that grow along with your business as well.Establishing the business's credit should be started before the company needs it.
