Is it easy to verify if lead paint was used in a house before purchasing it?

Those doors and trim that look good enough to keep when you first walk through a property in bad shape will look pretty rough once everything else around them is new and/or freshly painted.  

But the property will need a 10.000$ investment in second hand furniture paint job to be ready for sell or rent. let`s say i`m flipping for 60-70.000$ how much am i gettting for ROI Wise about 20%.And can i make that sale in 2 months because other properties are selling for the same price and my property has a new paint job?

I spent 30k to fix it up including a new roof, painting over strong smoke smell, and converted an office so it was a 5 br and slept in the new bedroom and rented out the other 4 to young professional women like myself.

I have a security deposit for 1 months rent, but they did not leave the home in great condition (minor damage to drywall, did not re-paint rooms they painted upon moving in, furniture left behind).I'm looking for recommendations on how to handle this situation.

From what I'm seeing..fresh paint, granite on the counters, pain the cabinets plus new hardware, laminate flooring anddd....done?

I have a SFH that I purchased for 50K put around 6K of cosmetic rehab into it (paint & carpet was really all the interior needed did some landscaping myself for curb appeal) got the down payment of 10K from my 401K.

I was wrong.The Rehab:My brain turned from “I’m an investor” to “I can totally paint an entire home to save two grand.”

I’ve always had significant interest in the industry, but became even more fascinated while working a college internship with The Sherwin-Williams Paint Company a few years ago.

Both structures need exterior paint; 5.5k, only main house needs interior paint; 1.2k.
