At 52, I'm looking for my "third chapter".

Let me first say I do have a CPA he is buried right now as are most tax professionals.  

Although that would be looked down upon by a lender as well because of the inherent risk of lending to someone who has too much on their plate. 

(I actually didn't get my laptop/phone hooked up to it, because I live here.

Outside of West Oakland, what areas would you say are likely to go up in value over time - what pockets/neighborhoods are you looking at?

It's tough in this market but not dead, off market deals are very tough to get right now and you have to jump on them when you see a good one.

Although I find competition for what I call investment grade parks is quite keen.. so returns are more in the MF space.. when you venture out east from the west coast or look at low end parks returns are higher but management is quite intense.. as our dealing with some pretty scruffy tenant base.

At the end of the day, they made me rethink the negative views many have.
