For some it is taking a shower once a week and picking up clothes ever two weeks.

We keep a tub of clean drop cloth runners at the ready for move-in day and lay them over the carpet in all the traffic areas.

Mostly items for getting started in their home and items to help them take care of the place.Here's what we give new tenants.....Cleaning Bucket with Cleaning Supplies:  white vinegar, baking soda, awesome degreaser, cleaning disinfectant wipes, carpet spot cleaner, magic eraser, all purpose cleaner, scrub sponge.Tote Bag with Useful Items and Tools:  hand soap, paper towels, plastic garbage bags, toilet paper, toilet plunger, Zip-It (strip for clearing hair clogs from drains), plastic clothes hangers, shower curtain liner (good quality cloth one), laundry detergent, dish soap/dish detergent, cutting board, "Freeze the Grease, Save the Drain" kit, “Recycle” tote, magnet with our name and contact information.Refreshments In the Fridge:  several bottles of water, snack food, bottle of sparking cider with a welcome note attached.

Not hang any laundry, clothing, sheets, etc., from any window, rail, porch or balcony nor air or dry any of same within any yard area or space;S.

He wears weird clothes, sometimes he is cooking fish or broccoli.

I wetted down some cardboard or some canvas drop cloths and spread them in the drop zone of splatter. 

Before you go giving it away to charities that feed, clothe or whatever in the now, why not use it for our future, you know we're going to need it.Find a non-profit, or even a for-profit for that matter, that teaches youth in middle school, high school and even college, the importance of self preservation and financial literacy.
