Another factor is it will also depend on whether or not the roofers need to replace slats with sheathing to bring the roof up to building code.In Southwestern Indiana, I have property that's about 850 sq ft where I've been quoted approx. $4,500 for a new roof.In Denver, Colorado (where I live), I/the insurance company paid $14,000 to replace the roof on my person home (710 sq ft).

Let them come up with the reasoning, rather than you having to try and figure it out.With the first contractor we hired, a roofer, (in retrospect) it was likely to determine how much time and effort he needed to put into the job (ultimately I asked him not to come back after paying for the work he completed to that point).

I was hesitant because roofers especially around any large city can be very sketchy.
