While I am a licensed agent but I do not focus on MLS deals.I've been personally investing in Detroit since 2019 and have 12-doors there now.

Kind of think I want to get my license while I’m at it, seems easy enough although I’m not sure how easy it is to find a sponsoring broker.  

Qualified real estate attorney, an asset protection attorney, an insurance agent licensed in the market, contractors, and other investors are just some that come to mind.

You would need to look at licensing in your state, etc. for the latter. 

About 20yrs ago I had about a half dozen appraiser trainees and licensed appraisers working for me.

Quick info on me that could possibly help: Licensed realtor, good credit, first rehab I’ve owned but not the first flip project completed by the GC or by myself as the realtor, strong W2 income in addition to real estate.

If you simply want to "get involved in it" I would suggest seeking out local, licensed property managers who are hiring.

I wanted to get your opinion on if it getting the license is worth it .

Obviously I want it to be fully legal and licensed.  

If I remember correctly the Texas Real Estate Licensing Act says that an agent can list the property only if they sign a listing agreement with the owner.Yes, you do have an equitable interest in the property but no, you are not the owner.
