You are beginning to sound like a Poker player that keeps adding chips to a pot, looking at 2 Aces and a King, thinking the odds are with him drawing another Ace. 

Where the difference between mortgage and rent is almost practically nothing due to the fact that we will be engaging a property manager and now we re at a cross road if to sell though most likely texas will be our retirement city eventually.

I feel my best option, as others had mentioned, is to find ways tomake money and fully engage in real estate investing meets, events, etc.

I’ve noticed that it’s hard to get info on more advanced topics on this site, because when you ask questions that are more advanced they don’t normally get any engagement.
