Good Morning,So I have always dreamed of getting a duplex as my first house and to house hack to get my foot in the door in real estate investing.

I’ve tried tru people search when I was D4D last week, and didn’t find a valid number out of the 20 houses I found

House Hacking using the VA loan to live on one side while renting the other is great.2.

I did that out of necessity with my first 2 houses and was able to buy in a nicer neighborhood than I could actually afford because they weren't updated. 

These are multiple assets of all sorts of things, retail, houses, condos, office. 

i also had HVAC mystery issues in my first duplex when we house hacked it.Regarding the Daikin Mini Split - I have one in the 3rd story of my current home and it seems to work great for us. 

Ask if their handyman is in-house--which I've seen turn into a "charge up to the owner authorization threshold for every single visit".
