One of the podcasts with Scott Smith #109 he recommends having your properties in an LLC or a trust for anonymity and asset protection.

@Jon Adams If your LLC is a sole proprietorship, then you can transfer the properties into the LLC without creating any issue with your lender.You can also simply transfer them into an anonymous land trust, which affords you a degree of anonymity and therefore protection.

It can be useful if the LLC is also an anonymous LLC to add another layer of insulation for you.

how about a family trust that is the beneficiary is a manager managed Wyoming LLC which is an anonymous manager listing on Wyoming's SOS.

Unlike craigslist where you can be anonymous. 

Don't know it provides all that much protection anyway,  Certainly doesn't provide anonymity.
