I have my degree in interior design and my husband is a licensed electrician and majority of his background is in building new construction.

When inquiring about a specific property that is in need of major "cosmetic" repairs/ replacement:*drywall damage*holes in interior doors*tile missing in shower*disgusting rugs*peeling vinyl flooringAll things we have experience in replacing, however would this affect the possibility of getting a conventional or VA loan due to the clause "No major issues affecting safety, soundness, and habitability"?

So the inspection just came back showing the following issues: - Mold in a few interior rooms- Evidence of rodents- Original roof requires repair, replacement and/or evaluation - there are active leaks in the attic - 7 out of 8 water heaters need replacing at any moment ($5600 total estimated)- 5 out of 8 A/C units need replacing at any moment ($25K total estimated)- A bunch of minor things need to be fixed, i.e.
