If you really believe those two things to be synonomous, I can't continue this discussion, as it's clear that the way I use the English language is different than the way you use the English language.I curious to see if others on this thread will support your belief that "relationship to" is the same as "roots of".

Questions in English generally end with an upwards inflection of the voice, and there is clearly no upwards inflection of the voice on that clip.
