You will be able to get good ones but you will screen out a ton of garbage while in my local rentals I have only had one really bad tenant and have never denied someone because they were a felon, sex offender or had multiple evictions.

Per TXDPS, registered sex offenders in 2 of 4 units. 1 male, 1 female.

@Cam Clinger If the home is older, you should assume that its going to be a 2 ton unit.

I looked and there is no law protected Transgender people, but I read where it could be viewed that this is dicrimination based on sex which is covered under the Civil Rights Act of 1964.So maybe look for another reason to reject the prospective renter?

What about people who want to choose the sex of their child?
