So, first off, hi, I'm darwin, and I don't post or follow on this forum much, because it gets my blood pressure up. 

He trusts me with everything, he is my brother (not blood), and that has been one of the dynamics that have allowed it to work.

I am not saying you won't find one but it is going to be very difficult.If you have expertise in Prefab/building then you might have to partner with a guy that has the money to get your idea completed.I am working on some construction in Austin and it is so difficult to get construction loans no matter the LTV, etc - they want your blood type, what you had for breakfast, first born, etc

I basically tell them that if they have three or more unrelated people (not married, not related by blood) then they are held to a higher standard.

I know of one person who I met last year, who had a tenant with elevated blood lead levels.

Some guys see blood in the water and assume they're making money if someone else is losing which isn't always the truth...

People at the neighborhood association didn't mind many people living at an address (which would also increase street traffic) if they were all related by blood or marriage.The test I use is I want to be notified in advance of this stuff so I can decide to live elsewhere if I don't like what's in the neighborhood.
