If they volunteer to pay, great.If not, understand that no judge will award you damages for something that is quite literally worthless.The bottom line is that they do not actually owe you anything.

You submit a bid, they open and award the highest bidder the property at a specific date and time.Sounds like City of Baltimore or whatever taxing entity owns the property is doing something similar there.
