How do the longer term renters feel about having a STR literally next door and vice versa?

Since it's new construction, what type of insulation (and/or other techniques) would you recommend to "dampen" sound coming into the unit (as well as out from the unit) so they don't hear the next door house and vice versa?

Typically the expensive have terrible cash flow, but better appreciation, and vice versa in less expensive areas.

It is possible to structure the agreement in such a way that allows for both anonymity and asset protection where a single LLC is beneficiary to multiple trusts or vice versa. 

This is my approach:- Talk to as many people as possible to narrow down the state then city/neighbohood and then actively pursue deals in that area- Figure out structurally how to get money from Canada into the US and vice-versa (to avoid double taxation, since im an out of country investor)- All the while educating myself etc.

I would definitely check with the local zoning though before doing anything like that or purchasing a building assuming you are going to convert from residential to commercial or vice versa.
